History

From a slaughterhouse to integrated production.

1955
First steps in Kadıköy
Pak Tavuk was founded in Söğütlüçeşme, Kadıköy, Istanbul, as a slaughterhouse for processing and selling chicken.
1971
Investing in Samandıra
To meet the growing demand for chicken with a more regular and controlled production structure, we began investing in a breeder farm and hatchery in Samandıra.
1972
Parent stock production begins
We brought in Hybro parent stock from Euribrid of the Netherlands. In the autumn of the same year, we started producing hatching eggs and day‑old chicks.
1974
Feed production
Our first feed mill, with a capacity of 4 tonnes an hour, opened in Samandıra, bringing another key link of the production chain in-house.
Later years
Investment and growth
With investments in new breeder farms, the hatchery and the feed mill, we increased our production capacity while continuing to develop our integrated production structure.
Today
Production in 10 provinces, exports to 40 countries
Today we produce with 2.5 million parent stock birds, a hatching egg capacity of 450 million a year and 450 employees. Our day‑old chicks go mainly to producers in Türkiye, while our hatching eggs are exported by road and by air to 40 countries. As we grow, our priority stays the same: increasing our capacity while keeping our quality standard.
